State Board of Technical Educations and Training Andhra Pradesh: Hyderabad Notification Common Entrance Examination for Admissions in to Polytechnics-2009 [CEEP-2009]

The State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad will conduct “Common Entrance Examination for Admission into Polytechnic (CEEP -2009)” for the candidates seeking admission to all Diploma Courses in Engineering /Non Engineering/ Technology offered at Polytechnics / Institutions (including Aided and Unaided Private Polytechnics/ Institutions) in Andhra Pradesh State for the academic year 2009-2010.
Eligibility appears for CEEP- 2009.
Candidates should have passed, or compartmentally passed or appearing for SSC or its equivalent examination, recognised as equivalent to S.S.C. by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P.Hyderabad are also eligible to apply.
The Candidates should have passed in all the subjects or pending result of their qualifying examination, their entry shall be subject to their securing a pass in all the subjects in the said qualifying examination.
Detailed Information regarding eligibility, age and syllabus etc., are given in the “CEEP-2009 Booklet” which is supplied along with ICR FORM and is available for sale at a cost of Rs.10/- (Rupees Ten only) from the Principals of Govt.Polytechnic, Private Polytechnics and AP online centers (Detalis can be sen on website http://dteap.ac.in).
Important Dates:
- Commencement of sale of CEEP Booklet with ICR form for Rs.10/-: 9th March 09
- Commencement of Filling of Online application Form for Rs.300/- from Helpline Centers/AP online Centers : 9th March 09
- Last Date for Sale of CEEP Booklet with ICR Form & Last Date for Filing of Online Applications Form: 10th April 2009
- Date of Conduct of CEEP – 2009: 29th April 09 @ 11:00am to 01:00pm
Procedure for applying:
State Board of Technical Education & Training, AP, Hyderabad has made arrangements to accept online application forms at various AP online/ Helpline centers.

In Order file application through these centers an application fee of Rs.300/- (Rupees Three Hundred only) has to be paid to the operator by the candidates.
The detailed procedure of enclosing photograph and affixing signature of the candidates and parent / guardian on the ICR form is available in the Instructions booklet. Candidates are advised to read these Instructions carefully before entering the details on the ICR form and recheck it before the operator presses the confirmation button. Please note that the manual application form is not accepted.
The Programme of admissions (Web counseling) will be notified in all leading newspapers after declaration of CEEP results. Candidates are advised to note that admissions into polytechnics for academic year 2009-2010 shall be made on the basis of web counseling, where in candidates can opt for any course at any polytechnic in the order of priority and the allotment shall be made for his/ her best preferred choice based on his/her merit and other admission rules in vogue. Details of Web counseling and helpline centers will be available on our website http://dteap.ac.in and shall be notified in all leading Newspapers after declaration of CEEP RESULTS.
Important DO’s for Candidates
a) Please note that only one Hall ticket will be generated against an ICR FORM, i.e, ICR FORM NUMBER IS UNIQUE.
b) Candidates should note down the ICR form number ( or still better, keep a Xerox copy of ICR form as the same would be required for WEB counseling. )
c) Date of birth should be correctly entered in the ICR form, as tie in CEEP rank would be resolved on the basis of the same
d) Do not allow your ICR FORM TO BE USED BY OTHERS. (i.e. Do not reveal your ICR form no. to others)
