Department of Civil Engineering S.V. National Institute of Technology, Surat

Applications are invited for the post of Research Assistant for the collaborative research project “Study of Speed – Flow Characteristics and Flow Behavior under Mixed Traffic
Conditions in Indian Urban Context” taken up in association with the Indian Roads Congress (IRC), New Delhi.

The post is purely temporary in nature for the duration of the project. Qualifications and other details are given below:

Job Requirement:
Project development and report preparation, Auto CAD Mapping, Data Management and Field Survey Work.

Qualifications:
First class B.E. /B. Tech. in Civil Engineering or First class M.E. / M. Tech. in Transportation Engineering / Planning. Proficiency in Auto CAD and MS Office is a necessary requirement. Person having knowledge to carry out Traffic Surveys will be given preference.

Walk – in interview on 15-2-2010 at 2:30 p.m.
