Admission to M.D. Course in Microbiology / Pharmacology /Pathology

Eligibility:

Having qualified for the M.B.B.S Degree of the University of Madras or any other University recognised as equivalent thereto by this University and the Indian Medical Council and obtained full Registration.

The following Certified copies of the documents should be attached along with the applications.

1. Statement of Marks for the Final M.B.B.S. Examination.

2. Statement of Marks for the Diploma Examination, if any

3. Service Candidates indicating the details of Service put in by them in the respective institutions.

4. Two latest conduct certificates [in Original], Evidence if any of the certificate of merit obtained by the candidate in any subject.

5. Revaccination and physical fitness certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner not below the rank of an Assistant Surgeon.

6. The certificate of Social Status should be signed by an Officer of the Revenue Department not lower in rank than that of a Deputy Tahsildar whether independent charge or on other duty in the same scale of pay or by the Block Development Officer Cum Panchayat Union Commissioner in the Block concerned. All Officers of I.C.S or I.A.S. and Officers of the Secretariat not lower in status than a Deputy Secretary to Government are competent to sign the certificate provided that they have personal knowledge of the facts stated and make themselves duly responsible for the same. The Certificate shall bear the stamp of the Office of the Officer signing the Certificate.

7. Original Certificate should be submitted at the time of interview. The Selection of candidates will be considered only when all the certificates are in order. They are requested to note that the Originals of the certificates once deposited on submission to the Institute cannot and will not be returned to them until they are considered to be no longer required by the Institute.
