NMAT 2010, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) Online Application Date and Entrance Test Dates are announced

NMAT 2010, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai dates are announced for MBA Programs & Ph.D Program in Management. NMAT 2010 will be conducted in India and abroad during a predetermined 10 days period for admission to the following programs.

• MBA Core
• MBA (Pharmaceuticals Management)
• MBA (Actuarial science)
• MBA (Capital Markets)
• MBA (Banking)
• MBA (Part – Time)
• Ph.D Program in Management
• EPGDBM

Online Registration – Tuesday, 27th October 2009 to 6th December 2009
Online NMAT Dates – 30th January to 8th February 2010

Admission Criteria & Selection Process

All those who registered successfully will be called for the NMAT, provided they satisfy condition of eligibility. It is the sole responsibility of the candidates to check that he/she is eligible as per the criteria. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of NMAT Score, Group Discussion, Personal Interview, Presentation (as applicable) and work experience. The selection criteria will be based on merit. The cut-off for deciding the merit shall lie solely with NMIMS University. In this regard, the decision of the NMIMS University will be final and  undisputable and shall be binding on all concerned.

(Note: 15% seats are reserved for Management Quota in each course out of total intake).

1) Selection Process for :

Full Time MBA – Core

MBA Actuarial Science

MBA Banking Management

MBA Capital Market

Entrance Test (NMAT)

Group Discussion & Personal Interview

Candidates applying for multiple programmes stated above will have to

undergo Group Discussion/Personal Interview with MBA Core programme. Those candidates who have applied for multiple programmes namely, MBA Actuarial, Banking & capital their selection will be based on the merit score obtained by them as well as on the availability of the seats.

2) Selection Process for :

MBA Pharmaceutical Management

Entrance Test (NMAT)

Group Discussion, Personal Interview & Presentation

Candidates have to undergo a separate Group Discussion/Personal Interview & Presentation for MBA Pharmaceutical Management Programme. A separate merit list will be drawn for MBA Pharmaceutical Management.

3) Selection Process for:

Ph.D. Management

Entrance Test (NMAT)

Presentation & Personal Interview

Candidates have to undergo a separate Presentation & Personal Interview for Ph.D. Management Programme. A separate merit list will be drawn for Ph.D. Management.

4) Selection Process for :

Part Time MBA:

Entrance Test (NMAT)

Personal Interview

Candidates have to undergo a separate Personal Interview for Part Time MBA Programme. A separate merit list will be drawn for Part Time MBA.

5) Selection Process for :

Full Time EPGDBM (Bangalore Campus):

Candidates have to undergo a separate Group Discussion & Personal Interview for EPGDBM. A separate merit list will be drawn for EPGDBM.
