IIT Madras invites applications from Indian Nationals with an established record of independent, high quality research and commitment to teaching and research for faculty positions  in all the departments :

Professor
Exp: A minimum of 10 years Teaching / Post Graduate Research / Industrial Experience, of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor / Associate Professor.
Pay Scale: PB-4 Rs.37400-67000 AGP Rs.10500/-

Associate Professor

Exp: A minimum of 8 years Teaching / Post Graduate Research / Industrial Experience, of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor.
Pay Scale: PB-4 Rs.37400-67000 AGP Rs.9500/-

Assistant Professor :
Exp: Candidates preferably should be below 35 years of age. Candidates who expect to receive their Ph.D. within the next six months may also apply. But their appointment to the post, if found suitable, will be subject to their receiving the degree.
Pay Scale: PB-3 Rs.16500-39100 AGP Rs.8000/-, on completion of 3 years service as Assistant Professor, shall move to PB-4 with AGP Rs.9000/-

Qualification: Ph.D., with the preceding Degree in the appropriate branch, with consistently good academic record throughout.
