Positions of Research Associate/Junior Research Fellow (RA/JRF), Research Associate/Post Doctoral Fellow (RA/PDF) are available in the following projects.

Chemistry:

Biochemical and Structural Studies of Purine Biosynthetic Enzymes
RA/JRF: (1 Post)
Eligibility : For RA- Ph.D or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research, teaching, design,development experience after MSc/ME/MTech. For JRF- MSc/BE/BTech or equivalent degree, must have either qualified for GATE or CSIR-NET (LS) examinations which is still valid.
Salary: Consolidated salary Rs.16000/- p.m.+ HRA for RA and Rs.12000/- p.m.+ HRA for JRF
Job Profile : Will be involved in biochemical and some computational work. Candidates with experience in molecular cloning, protein chemistry as well as assay development will be preferred. Knowledge of computational biology or structural biology is an added advantage.

Steroselective and Atom Efficient Synthesis of Multi-functional Molecules
RA/PDF: (1 Post)
Eligibility: Ph.D in Synthetic Organic Chemistry.
Salary: Consolidated salary Rs.16000/- p.m. + HRA. Those with postdoctoral experience in relevant areas and good publication record may be eligible for higher salary (Rs. 17000-18000/- p.m + HRA). The above salary is likely to be enhanced to 22000-24000 as per the new DST notification.
Job Profile: Literature survey, experimental work, analysis and interpretation of data, preparation of manuscripts for publication and other research related duties assigned from time to time.

The positions are temporary initially for a period of one year and tenable only for the duration of project. The selection committee may offer lower or higher designation and lower or higher salary depending upon the experience and performance of the candidate in the interview.
