The Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM), Pune, an autonomous research organization, fully devoted to research in various aspects of climate science is looking for recruiting bright talented candidates of Indian origin to fill 20 Research Scientist positions in the following areas : (i)Development of a Dynamical Prediction System of Seasonal Mean Monsoon Rainfall; (ii)Extended Range Prediction System for active and Break Spells of the Monsoon; (iii) Interaction between Tropical Convection and Large Scale Circulation and Parameterization of Tropical Convection for Weather and Climate Models; (iv) Physics and Dynamics of Tropical Clouds using Radars and similar techniques; and (v)Climate Change and Indian Monsoon.
