INFLIBNET Centre is an autonomous body of University Grants Commission with its Headquarters at Ahmedabad.
The Centre has taken up major programme towards modernization of libraries and information Centre in universities, colleges, institutes of higher learning and R&D institutes in India with application of computer and communication technology besides UGC-INFONET, Consortium for E-Journal Subscriptions etc.
The Centre invites applications from Indian nationals for appointment to the following purely temporary position on contractual appointment basis initially for a period of one year which may be extended for further period depending upon the exigency of work.
Project Officer (LS): 02 Posts
Qualification & Exp: MLISc. or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute with 1 year experience in a computerized library environment.
Pay Scale: Rs.18,000/
Age Limit: 30yrs
Project Assistant (LS): 01Post
Qualification & Exp: MLISc or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute with knowledge of computer applications is desirable.
Pay Scale: Rs.8,500/-
Age Limit: 25yrs
