1. Tell me something about yourself?

A: Tell the interviewer your Name, your designation (S/W Engineer, System Analyst, Sales Exec etc.) in the current company. Tell him your character like (You are energetic, enthusiastic and responsible with good communication skills, ready to meet new people, love to work in team etc.).

2. What are your strengths and weaknesses?

A: Tell the interviewer your strengths (like you are a good team player, efficient worker etc.) which are specifically essential in the job area you applied for.  Tell him frankly like you need to develop in certain areas where you are weak.

3.  What made you apply for this job/Company?

A.  Do study about the Company prior to the interview and at the same time do not portrait your current company in negative way.

4.  What is your long-term career goal?

A. Tell him frankly like you have planned your goal and would like to reach in certain years of span. Tell him that the position you applied for is the key to get your goal.

5. Why do you want to leave your current job?

A. There can be many answers for this question. Career Growth, Salary, Company not doing well, Team restructuring etc. Analyze yourself and give him a convincing answer.

6. What do you know about the Company?

A. Do have a study prior to the interview like its growth in over time, Work Culture etc.
