A walk-in-interview has been arranged on 18th (at Assam University) and 19th (at Cachar Cancer Hospital & Research Centre) for the under-mentioned posts on Cancer Biology sponsored by Department of Biotechnology, New Delhi, jointly to be run under the Dept. of Biotechnology Assam University, Silchar (AUS) & Cachar Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, (CCHRC) with Prof. S K Ghosh, AUS and Dr. Ravi Kannan, Director, (CCHRA) as Principal Investigator. The positions are purely temporary and will be governed by the Administrative rules / service condition of the University/Hospital.

1. Project Fellow – 4 (four) [2 for AUS and 2 for CCHRC]
Age – 28
Qualification – Masters Degree in Biotechnology/ Life science (Zoology/Biochemistry with good academic records and laboratory skills on Molecular biology / bioinformatics / Working with cancer will be given advantages.
Pay-Scale – Rs. 10,000 (initially for two years)
Date of Interview – 18th August 2010 at 2 pm on Assam University Admin. Block

2. Data entry operator- 1 (one) – CCHRC
Age – 30
Qualification – 10+2 with Diploma in Computer/DTP with experience
Pay-Scale – Rs. 4,200
Date of Interview – 19th August 2010 at 10 am on CCHRC

3. Lab attendant 1 (one) – CCHRCAge – 30

Qualification – 10 pass, laboratory experience and DTP will be given preference
Pay-Scale – Rs. 3,500
Date of Interview – 19th August 2010 at 10 am on CCHRC
