Introduction : the International Conference on Diabetes Research & Health 2010. As you know, Diabetes mellitus is escalating globally and it is predicted that 300 million individuals worldwide will have diabetes by 2025, with a major impact on the population of developing countries.In India, there is an alarming rise in prevalence of diabetes, which has gone beyond epidemic form to a pandemic one. Currently India has got the largest number of diabetics and is being called as diabetic capital of the world. Diabetes has significant health consequences for individual and communities,
serious diabetes-related complications including heart disease, stroke and kidney failure – kills people every day.
Aim : The Conference aims to create conducive environment for wholesome discussion on diabetes and to address the disease’s burden… and to collectively charter a future course of action to bring inter-disciplinary, inter-institutional collaboration for research and education in the subject. Our collective effort will go a long way in creating awareness about diabetes and unite us against the dreaded disease, this coming November will be a time to gain insights from pioneers in the field.

The conference will cover plenary/invited lectures and oral/poster
presentations. Submissions of abstracts are invited. Abstract may be submitted online/through email: Authors submitting abstract must have an active participation in the Conference. PThe title of the abstract should be typed in Times New Roman with font size of 14 and all other matter with a font size of 12 with a maximum of 250 words. The abstract should be divided into an introduction, hypothesis, materials & methods, results & discussion and conclusions. PThe name of the presenting author should be underlined. All the authors name should be prefixed with initials.
PThe complete postal address of the authors along with the email address and fax number of the corresponding authors should be provided.
Those who opt for oral presentation should send a brief CV along with the abstract.

The selection will be based on both the quality of the abstract and the CV.
