The position is purely temporary.
Research Position: Senior Research Fellow – 2 Nos.
Duration: 1 year and 8 months
Title of the Project: Development of Alternaria carthami disease resistant transgenic plants of Safflower through over expression of chitinase gene disease resistance
Value of the Fellowship: Rs. 14,000 + HRA – p.m. (consolidated)
Qualification: M.Sc. Botany / Plant Science / Plant Biotechnology degree with minimum marks of 55% and two years research experience
Preferable: Basic experience in plant tissue culture and genetic transformation, preference will be given to those who have qualified in UGC /CSIR / NET/ GATE / National tests.
