Applications are invited from eligible candidates for a temporary position of Senior Research Fellow (@ Rs. 14,000/- p.m. + HRA) in the GBPIHED sponsored research project entitled “Forest structure, composition and diversity in relation to
socio-economic status of the people along a disturbance gradient in Dudhatoli area of Garhwal Himalaya”. The position is tenable up to 31st March 2010.

Qualifications: M.Sc. degree in Botany from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks and two years research experience in the related field. Age not exceeding 28 years.

All things being equal SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per G.O.I. rules. A relaxation of 5 years upper age limit will be given to SC/ST/physically handicapped/ female candidates.

The walk-in interview for the post will be conducted on 3rd September 2010 at 11:00 am sharp in the Department of Botany, H.N.B. Garhwal University, Srinagar Garhwal – 246 174 (Uttarakhand).
