Amrita Schools of Engineering announced their Entrance Date for 2009 Admissions.

Amrita conducts, as in the previous years, an entrance examination (AMRITA ENTRANCE EXAMINATION-ENGINEERING-2009) for selection of students for the First year of B Tech programmes at the three campuses.

ELIGIBILITY

1. A pass in 12th standard or equivalent examination from CBSE or any State Board or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks separately in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry

2. Age: Born on or after 01st July, 1988.

IMPORTANT DATES

Date of Entrance Examination : 19th April 2009 FN (Sunday)

Sale of Application forms begins on : 5th January 2009.

Last date of receiving filled-in application : 16th March 2009.

SYLLABUS FOR THE EXAM

CBSE / STATE BOARD, PLUS TWO LEVEL Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry.

Question paper will be multiple choice type of duration 3 hours.

HOW TO OBTAIN APPLICATION FORM

Ø In Person, from the University counter of Amrita Schools of Engineering at Amritapuri, Bangalore and Coimbatore on payment Rs 850/- by demand draft favoring Amrita School of Engineering payable at Coimbatore

Ø From designated branches of AXIS Bank/ Dhanalakshmi Bank on Payment of Rs 850/-. For list of branches, visit University web site

Ø By post from the Admission Co-coordinators of the three campuses (address given below) by sending DD for Rs 850/- favoring Amrita School of Engineering payable at Coimbatore
