Introduction:

Hero Honda Motorola Campus Rock Idols, India’s largest inter-college rock music competition is all set.The annual independent competition “Campus Rock Idols” for amateur bands at the campus level,in this year, offers an ultimate experience for bands to perform on a professional, technical and evolved production offering.DNA and Sports Media Pvt Ltd are the organizers and event managers of Campus Rock Idols which debuted in 2004 is already India’s biggest annual independent college music festival/completion.Campus Rock Idols 08 will be held across India in 10 cities over a 2-month period, commencing from January 10 2009, and culminating on Feb 7, 2009 with a grand finale in Hyderbad. The regional events will commence in January 2009 in: south zone: Bangalore, Hyderabad, Manipal West Zone: Pune and Ahmedabad. north zone: Jaipur, Delhi and Chandigarh east Zone: Calcutta and Shillong. Eligibility:

-Open to amateur rock bands from all colleges. On completion of the regional events, the regional finals will be held at Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, and Pune. The participants will be the first two winning bands from each of the regional events including the metro events.

-The chosen bands will be provided with travel and accommodation for the regional finals from the various campuses.
